A Socially Distanced Celebration!

aXis Pro Events: SL100 Stageline Mobile Stage Rental

Celebration Fall Festival • Athletic Complex • October 10th • SL100 Mobile Stage

The aXis Pro Events team had a blast rocking a socially distanced Celebration... literally! Mother Nature graced the Celebration Athletic & Recreation Complex with semi-clear skies and a whole lot of space to spread out and enjoy live music in the new normal. Well, maybe the field wasn't completely produced by Mother Nature, but the fresh astroturf of the soccer field made for comfortable seating, while the Celebration residents only event enjoyed Otown's favorite Celtic party band Off Kilter, followed by Pirate Flag, the best Kenny Chesney tribute north of the Virgin Islands.

With minimal festival and venue activity in the live music world, the minds at Celebration CCMC dreamed up a way to keep their Fall event season alive. Tasked with transferring a usually packed North Village Pool and Recreation Center, located around the corner from Celebration Town Centre (where we have produced their annual 4th of July Concert, Oktoberfest, NYE and other holiday events for well over a decade, including Justin Bieber for Radio Disney's Xmas back in 2010).

So they decided to keep the crowd size similar, but just spread them out per local regulations with 8 foot round pods, separated by 8 feet, with 12 feet lanes throughout the Soccer field, and allowing for overflow in the adjoining field if needed. The pods were designed to seat 6 residents comfortably, with space for lawnchairs and coolers at the BYOB event.

Celebration Rocktoberfest Livestream on Facebook Live featuring Pirate Flag

Over 600 Celebration residents RSVP'd to reserve their first come first claim pod, and those that weren't able to make it, had a chance to rock out on the Facebook LiveStream, providing a direct mix from the aXis Pro console, with the Behringer x32 sending the feed direct to the Celebration video team. Those live at the event, were treated to a nice mix of Celtic and Country favorites, via the QSC KLA181 Line Array and middle fills with the Dual 218 subs down front.

Looking forward to working with Gerry William's crew and Otown Motown for the Celebration Founder's Day on Friday, November 13th.
